A Day With Brick Walls

April 23, 2014.
I was strolling in the Downtown today while my husband was getting his haircut. I knew the exact place I wanted to explore. So I went straight to it. I was particularly interested in the building made of red bricks with writings on its walls.

Of course, there had to be a person posing in front of these walls!

A Day With Lines

April 22, 2014.
As I drove to my evening class today I realized that I didn't think of the pictures for today's blog post. I stepped out of my car and saw the lines on the parking lot pavement. I thought: "Perfect, let's make it a day with lines!". And in fifteen minutes I had before my class I found many more lines around me.

A Day With a Feeder

April 21, 2014.
We hung up or hummingbird feeder on our balcony in a hope to see some of these tiny birds this Spring and Summer.

See you tomorrow!

A Day of Repotting

April 20, 2014.
Some of our bean plants outgrew their pot. And today I was repotting them into the new space. When I saw their roots I thought about my own roots. We all have them, even if they are not physically visible. We grow our roots into the place we live, we build and grow or houses, we grow a community of people around us. I've been "repotted" several time during my life. And I will be "repotted" several more times. It is hard to adapt all root systems to the new space. It is hard for plants as well as people. But I also know that my main purpose of this act is to help this plant develop properly. And I believe that my own "repotting" will be done by someone to help me to achieve the same result, to develop and grow into stronger person.

A Day at the Buford Highway Farmers Market

April 19, 2014.
We like to go to the Buford Highway Farmers Market sometimes to stock up on seafood and some Eastern European and Russian goodies. It was probably our last time we went there before our move to New Jersey.

A Day With Another Egg Hunt

April 18, 2014.
Our children had egg hunts at their daycare today (their second egg hunt this year). It was held inside since it had rained before. While teachers and parents were hiding eggs, kids played and colored in the hallway.

A Day With a Cat

April 17, 2014.
I headed to Athens Photography Guild meeting with my friends and we met a cat at the entrance of the building.

A Day With After-Yoga Baseball

April 15, 2014.
This cold rainy day involved two sports. Yoga, which I practice myself, and baseball, in which I practiced action photography. Part of this post with the flowers is what I observed after my yoga class. And a part with baseball is what I watched as one of the nine frozen photographers.

We were invited to hunt for Easter eggs at our friend's place today. Our bunnies were totally happy to find and open them!

A Day With Trees and Bricks

April 8, 2014.
During our outdoor photography practice I looked up and saw these shadows. The photographer in me pointed camera up and pressed the button.

A Day With a Yellow Umbrella

April 7, 2014.
My life brought me to a place in Athens where I wanted to stroll for a very long time.

A Day With a Dill Update

April 6, 2014.
As I wrote earlier, we planted some dill seeds two weeks ago. We were worried that squirells would dig up all the soil in the pot like they did last time we tried planting. But seeds gave us many many sprouts this time around! Our children were beyond excited to see that!

A Day With Farmers Market

April 5, 2014.
I love to visit farmer's markets. I love that people are doing something for the community. I like to support local businesses. And even more I love to take pictures of people there.

A Day With Pollen

April 4, 2014.
Spring never comes to Athens without pollen. It covers everything! I need my allergy pill.

See you tomorrow!

A Second Day of Randomness

April 3, 2014.
As we were slowly recovering from sickness, we went for another stroll this morning. Spring is finally here!

A Day of Randomness

April 2, 2014.
Our two children are still sick. So we didn't plan to do anything big today. We went to stroll around and meet our Daddy from work.

A Day With Two Soccer Games

April 1, 2014.
We came to the soccer field as a team of photography interns to practice more of sport photography. For this post I decided to show not only the pictures of soccer itself but also the little details that sparkled my interest.

A Day of Solitary Walk

March 25, 2014. I chose to walk to my class today. I enjoy solitary walking when I can just observe this world.

A Slow Day

March 24, 2014. Few things drive me more nuts than the slow (very slow) hard drive with lack of space. And I had to deal with one today in order to process pictures for my class. Pretty frustrated and tired I went out of our place to pick up my children today.

A Day of Writing

March 23, 2014.
I attended a writing workshop today at ReBlossom Mama&Baby Shop with wonderful Lisa Lewis. I wasn't quite ready for this emotion-evoking and even tissue-grabbing experience. I wasn't ready to unearth my emotions. And I wasn't ready to do it so easily. It took me ten minutes of concentrated writing to scribble a letter of gratitude for my grandma who passed away about an year ago. I couldn't find strength to do it at home, because I didn't know how to start. Strangely enough I didn't feel uplifted and inspired right away after workshop. I discovered that writing can give me so much more that I knew but it needs practice.

See you tomorrow!

A Day With Even More New Flowers

March 22, 2014. Oh, reader! Forgive me for showing more flowers. I can't help it. I love spring season with its renewal. It's uplifting!

A Day With New Flowers

March 21, 2014. Today we felt much better, both of us. So we decided to stroll around our neighborhood to enjoy spring warmth and bloom.

A Day of Spring Warmth

March 20, 2014. Today my son got sick too. We stayed inside together for the most of the day feeling not so good. When I needed to go to my meeting I decided to go around our apartment complex to enjoy sun and brand new leaves.

A Day With Old Flowers

March 19, 2014. That day I really wanted to get out of my home and take a walk around just to find some new growing leaves and blooming flowers. But I got sick and stayed inside. I only walked out to our balcony where I found some old flowers that our children put into their collection several weeks ago.

See you tomorrow!

A Day of Grocery Shopping

March 16, 2014. Of course, after a long trip, we needed some food. It was pretty chilly in Athens when we got back home. And pretty humid.
P.S.: My daughter spotted a bird in the store.

A Day of the Road Trip from the Beach

March 15, 2014. Long, eight-hour drive back home. I didn't take pictures with my camera for the whole ride even though it was sitting right next to me. I realized that I need a picture for the blog at home late evening. And I remembered that I also needed to check our mail box. I discovered a note about a package that I hoped to get before the trip.
P.S.: I'm posting pictures from the road trip itself anyway, but be aware that they were taken with my phone.

A Day Third on the Cocoa Beach

March 14, 2014. That was our last day in Cocoa Beach and Florida. How could we leave this place without seeing the sunrise? And the rest of the day we spent playing and swimming at the Ron Jon Cape Caribe Resort since we got free day access as a gift.
